Barbara Mantini is a powerful and versatile vocalist and actor with a professional career spanning over 30 years, regularly appearing on stage in theatres, jazz clubs and music festivals.  In 2020, Barbara released her debut vocal jazz CD, “Maybe Someday” featuring original songs as well as jazz covers.  She is the recipient of an NMA Award for  “Jazz Artist of the Year”.

 

Along with her sisters Sandra, and Ann, Barbara is a member of the singing group “The Mantini Sisters”, who have performed across Canada and the United States since 1998.  Together they’ve produced three full length albums, “Moments To Remember”, “The Mantini Sisters Christmas” and “Pretty World”.

 

As a voice over artist, Barbara has been featured in animated cartoons including “The Busy World of Richard Scarry”, “Rupert”, and “Babar-The Movie”.  As an actor, she has worked for professional theatre companies like Drayton Entertainment, Victoria Playhouse Petrolia, and The Charlottetown Festival. She is currently an audiobook voice director for ECW press and an instructor in the Acting for Film and Digital Media Program at Niagara College of Canada.

 

Barbara’s wish is to reach the heart of her audience through her passion for singing and the magic of song.
